“About Me”
I was born in Cushing Maine where I now live with my wife and two daughters. My daughters are the sixth generation in my family to live at Brookfield Farm. As a teenager I worked on another farm in town as a farm hand and as a carpenters assistant. Carpentry soon developed as my main interest. I then began working on a carpentry crew restoring old homes. I became interested in the traditional construction of the Colonial and Greek Revival periods. In 1997 I started my own business specializing in restoration and reproduction of architectural details. As time went on I started to accept more cabinetry and furniture projects. My appreciation for other design styles was growing. In 2001 I began subcontracting to Page Traditional Boats, where under construction was a 38' yacht. When I started, the hull and decks were completed. It took six and a half years to finish the boat. All the while I was spending my weekends renovating the 1840's barn at Brookfield Farm. The barn was to become my new shop. In the spring of 2007 the work on the boat was winding down and my new shop was ready for business.

“About the Shop”
My shop is a renovated 1840's barn. It offers 1400 square feet per floor with an additional lumber shed. I renovated the barn into my shop on the weekends over a six year period. Repairs and renovations to the barn were extensive. The barn was lifted two feet to accommodate a concrete floor, most of the walls were reframed and re-boarded, one side of the roof was re-boarded and re-shingled, the second floor was ripped out and completely rebuilt, and the first floor was insulated and finished with sheet rock and pine boards.
One of my passions is vintage woodworking machinery. Pictures of the machinery and the inside of the shop can be seen on the Portfolio page. Pictures of the Shop
